Press Registration

All journalists holding valid media credentials are required to complete the online press pre-registration process prior to attending VEITHsymposium™.

Individuals Excluded from Press Registration

Public relations agents, publishers, and other non-editorial representatives are not eligible for press registration. These individuals must register as attendees and remit the applicable registration fee to participate in the meeting.

Eligibility Requirements for Press Attendance

Representatives from television, print, podcast, blog, and internet-based media outlets must submit the following documentation:

• A valid press identification card or business card indicating the individual’s name, title, and affiliated media outlet
• A letter on official letterhead from a television or radio producer confirming the individual’s assignment to cover VEITHsymposium™ for the respective outlet

Press Policy Guidelines for Exhibiting Companies

• Public relations representatives are not eligible to receive press credentials
• All industry press releases must include the official VEITHsymposium™ boilerplate language
• All promotional video recording must be coordinated in advance through the VEITHsymposium™ Press Office
• All videographers are required to provide valid proof of insurance

Embargo Policy for Exhibitors

Information presented during the Continuing Medical Education (CME) portion of the meeting may not be announced, publicized, or distributed prior to the designated embargo date and time, except in limited circumstances expressly approved by VEITHsymposium. 

Video Filming Requirements

Companies conducting video recording at VEITHsymposium must submit detailed information regarding the scope and purpose of their video project. All videographers must provide valid proof of insurance.
