The increasingly popular J. Leonel Villavicencio Latin-American Program at the VEITHsymposium is a great forum for vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, as well as vascular medicine specialists to interact and actively participate by presenting their ongoing clinical work or translational research. Also, invited speakers and world-renowned moderators will create an amazingly exciting meeting not-to-be-missed!
We welcome abstracts from the Latin World! These can be presented in Spanish, Portuguese or English. For the very first time presenters will be able to submit their abstract for inclusion in a Supplement of the Journal of Vascular Surgery. Awards will be given for the best presentations! Don't miss this opportunity to present your work to an international audience within the premier vascular meeting in the world!!
The J. Leonel Villavicencio Latin-American Program at VEITHsymposium Guidelines
Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Your Abstract:
- Abstracts should be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, and submitted by the presenting author no later than July 25, 2025.
- Abstract sub headers must include the full name of author(s) and professional credential(s), the full name of any/all co-author(s) and corresponding professional credential(s), institution and country of origin.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words beyond the title, the name of the author(s), institution and country of origin.
- All presentations will be 5-minute presentations, given from the Podium, in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
- Presenters of accepted abstracts will be notified within 2 weeks of submission.
- Abstracts should be submitted via the LATAM Submission Only Log-In below. Please complete the required LATAM Presenter form and submit your abstract. Abstracts submitted by e-mail will not be accepted.
- Accepted abstracts may be published in a Supplement of the Journal of Vascular Surgery (JVS).
- A separate, paid registration for the meeting will be required. As a participant in the LATAM Program, you will receive a reduced registration fee to attend the entire VEITHsymposium. You will be responsible for your own travel, lodging and other expenses.
- Please DO NOT register to attend VEITHsymposium until you have received notification that your abstract has been accepted. Registration must be paid in full no later than September 27, 2025. Please click here to REGISTER to attend the November 2025 VEITHsymposium.
